Spotlight Weekends

Spotlight Weekend Flyer - General Info |
Spotlight your way into a new experience at Rawhide Ranch!
Spotlight Weekends are great for brand new campers who want to get to know Rawhide Ranch, possibly before a longer stay, as well as returning campers who want to spend some time at their favorite camp and possibly work toward a rank!
Campers choose one "tract" (Riding, Vaulting or the Stock Farm) to focus on for the whole program. You will select either a "Ranked" tract or an "Un-Ranked" tract (see below for more info) for your child, depending on if they have previously earned a rank here or not. Download "Spotlight Weekend Flyer" above for more info about what each tract involves.
Each overnight Spotlight camp includes about 6 classes of your child’s selected “tract” plus Animal Care in the morning and evening, along with some fun games and activities. All meals are included.
Overnight Accommodations - A Rawhide Ranch counselor will be assigned to each cabin (up to 8 to 10 campers per cabin). Boys and girls sleep in separate housing areas. There are amazing counselors from summers past that are local and come to hang out with us for the weekend – and lastly you get a chance to spend time and get to know Rawhide Ranch.
Ages 7 – 15

Ranked vs. Un-Ranked - What does that mean?
Ranked Campers - Campers have the opportunity to earn a rank during a week-long overnight camp such as Summer Camp or Winter Camp. Your child will most likely know if they have a rank or not, but if you're not sure you can always contact us to find out. If your child is ranked, then you would select one of the "Ranked Camper" tracts (see below for list).
Un-Ranked Campers - Otherwise known as "Ranch-hands". If your child has never attended a week-long overnight camp here before (Summer or Winter Camp) OR of they have, but did not earn a rank, then you will select one of the "Ranch-hand" level tracts (see below for list). Your child will most likely know if they have a rank or not, but if you're not sure you can always contact us to find out.
Choose your Tract
*Minimum of 3 campers needed per tract (see below for details)

Each tract requires a minimum of THREE CAMPERS in order for us to run it. If you sign up for a tract and we do not get enough campers signed up for it, we will contact you and ask you to please select a different tract.
