Summer Camp Counselor Time Off

During the summer time off is a precious thing and we provide as much of it as we can within the schedule of camp. Each staff person will receive one 24-hour period of time off per week the time generally runs from approximately 9:00 PM to 9:00 PM the next day. You are relieved at evening flagpole before dinner and are to be back the next day in time to take your campers back. In addition to this time off Saturday evening is also a chance to get away. The entire staff is off at this time and it is a great time to get out and see the sites of Southern California as a group.

Also, during the summer there may be some all staff outings. In the past these have included, a day at the beach or going to a professional baseball game. These are all staff activities and paid for by the camp. They are always great fun.
